The Bug Page
Please note our new additions
Creeks, streams and waterways are full of different types of critters. Not all, however, have advocacy groups chaining themselves to rocks, or politicians turning red with rage over their fate.
Stream invertebrates, or bugs, are a good indication of the health of streams.
The purpose of this page is for general knowledge only. It is not recommended that you hold your bugs up to the screen (they will look much smaller). And, for heaven's sake, DO NOT TAKE YOUR MONITOR INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE CREEK! (The telephone line probably won't reach.)
